PS5 and Xbox Series X will be restocked Thursday for Walmart Plus subscribers

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s becoming a lot harder to get your hands on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Granted, it’s still trickier than it should be, but modern retail stores have taken longer to sell out than they used to. So, I hope you can buy any console you want during tomorrow’s restock at Walmart, which is specifically for paid Walmart Plus subscribers.

Starting at 3PM ET / 12PM PT on Thursday, January 13th, Walmart will offer a $499.99 PS5 with drive, the $399.99 PS5 console that can play digital-only titles, plus an Xbox Series X at a price $499.99. These consoles will be available to non-trial Walmart Plus members, which means you actually have to sign up to pay Walmart for the service to access (here you can sign up for Walmart Plus). Walmart, though, calls these deals “early access”, possibly suggesting that they’ll open to non-Plus customers after a period of time. In the past, the singularity window was three hours.

To make the payment process easier, make sure you have your shipping and payment information ready to go ahead.

PlayStation 5

Sony’s next-generation home console, which includes a disc drive, allows you to play digital and physical games for your PS4 and PS5.

Playstation 5 digital edition

The PS5 digital version costs $400. Compared to the standard PS5, this console is $100 less and does not include a Blu-ray disc drive.

Xbox Xbox X

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, serving as its most powerful (and biggest) option. While the S Series aims for smooth 1440p performance and takes a discless approach, the $500 Series X focuses on fast 4K gaming.

Some essentials for PS5 owners

If you plan to be lucky to purchase a console today, there are many excellent games and accessories that we recommend. Starting with games, go to this list to see the best PS5 games of 2021.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

Insomniac Games’ latest adventure in Questions and clatter The series is the most enjoyable entry so far. It’s also the first to launch on PS5, and it’s a showcase of stunning graphics and fast loading speeds.

DualSense midnight controller

The midnight black DualSense controller has the same hardware as the original – haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, etc. – only in a two-tone black design reminiscent of the PS2, PS3, and PS4 consoles.

If you’re a member of the Xbox team, you may already be familiar with Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you discounts, and access to the ever-growing catalog of Game Pass games, along with online multiplayer. You may never need to pay the full price of a game for your new console. Though, whether you want to pay full price or just need some ideas on what to play, check out the best Xbox games of 2021.

Xbox Wireless Headset

You don’t have to miss a call while you’re gaming thanks to Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless Headset, which currently retails for $96.99 instead of $99.99 at Target. In our review, we found it to be a comfortable and intuitively designed headphone that is well worth the price. In addition to working well with Xbox consoles, it can connect to another device at the same time via Bluetooth.
